George Nowland cycled 207 miles in 12 hours raising £605.65 in sponsorship for the fund in August, 2001.
George has cycling achievements spanning some 32 years and is 7 times winner of the NLTTA (North Lancs Time Trialling Association) BAR (Best All Rounder), 7 time NLTTA 100, 7 times winner of the 12 hour (Best ride of 272.25 miles). Has won the National Championship Vets Bar twice on average miles per hour, and has been a top 12 finisher in the National BAR twice.
He is currently a member of Science in Sport team and is looking forward to riding for them in the coming season www.scienceinsport.com
